I ordered a set of levers from china on Ebay for my DL 1000,,
39.00 + shipping, Total maybe 50 bucks I forgot as it took two weeks to get here,,, I got the short blue ones and they look and feel just as good as my 200.00 dollars ones I got on my Hayabusa,,,, I am impressed,,,
I will see if I can post a picture later..

Seems a good find Iride, plenty folk will knock Chinese goods. But take a look at most of the stuff in our homes and it is likely made there. Only differences are quality control and who the parent manufacturer is. You have the real deal ones for your Busa, so have something to compare them with.

Let us know how the Chinese levers compare in the short term, both good and bad  Thumbs Up

Anyone know if the long levers will fit inside the stock hand guards on my 1000?

Mike, how much room between the ends of the levers and your hand guards?  Is there enough space to go with the full length levers?

You need to state when you order if you want the full lenth or the short ones...

I purchased a set of shorty ones and am really pleased with them. The hand guard limits the adjuster on the brake side of my 02. Took about 10 minutes to install, fit and finish appears to be good quality.  Thumbs Up

I know these are Chinese knock offs but the other manufacturers must pay a lot more for their fancy packaging materials which would account for their premium pricing.

Well, bad business I would say. Levers look really good and they are made solid. I don't generally like Chinese products, but this one is done well for a great price. More photos:

Unfortunately, in Germany these levers need legal Papers ( ABE ) for "MOT" aka TUEV.

Any marks showing a number ? If so, i could get the Papers @work.

 Help

I've been looking for a handlebar, riser set up similar to what you show in your pictures with the nice levers. Would you mind telling me who you got them from? Thanks much!

Spiegler handlebar, RoX 2" risers.

I like the wide & open handlebar more than the standard one. I still need to get used to new levers, but they do look nice  Grin

I've got a similar set on my DL1000 , and it went allmost bad...
The screw holding the brake lever loosened when I was driving around my neighbourhood ......
Was lucky, and found the nut, went home and added some drops of locktite before reassembly.
Also checked the clutch lever , same there, no locktite at the bolt from the chinese basement factory.

After fixing this little issue, I've used them for the last couple of months with no issue.

I just purchased these http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Brake-Clutch-Lever-Suzuki-DL1000-V-STROM-2002-03-09-/270606623848?pt=Motorcycles_Parts_Accessories&hash=item3f01696468 for around $40. Haven't received them yet but will post when I do.

A little over twice the price, but more adjustibility on the RideitMoto levers I think these look good for the money as well.

I have a set of these on my 1000, have set the clutch lever to short and the brake to a bit longer. The quality of the finish is not as good as it could be, some sharp edges on the machined aluminum and the the clutch lever does not actuate the starter switch when in the closest adjustment position. Not a problem for me, and I am really happy with my purchase.

Thanks for the info ML C, I did wonder about the feel on the edges of any of the levers mentioned above. I am barely holding back on pulling the trigger on a set of something anytime soon. Anyone else noticed less than an ideal rounded profile on their levers, from this thread?

I have a set of these, only the brake lever is useful with the stock DL650 handguards, the clutch lever adjuster fouls the guard.

However - since it was my brake lever that was worn out - works for me Smiley

Geometry and shaping of the levers is fine with me, slightly better than stock.
Didn't have any of the quality issues others reported, no sharp edges, uses nylock nuts.

I bought the same levers from Hong Kong. got them for £9.50 plus shipping. The clutch lever did foul on the handguard but I stripped it down and fitted the adjuster on the underside. I still had to pack the handguard out with some washers but you cant see them. I think the quality is ok for the price. they have only been on the bike a couple of weeks but seem fine. Another good item I got cheap from Ebay (UK this time) was a set of Blue mirrors. the are fantastic colour match for my 650 Strom. £18 including delivery. they even arrived the next day.
