I'm in Silver Spring, looking for good close in quick rides.  Are there any?  I like Beach road/street but it's 25mph and has speed bumps.  Rock Creek park is also cool but crowded.  Want to get a little further out with hills and twisties.

Mercenary, i live in PA but commute to North Bethesda for work once or twice a week, sometimes in my DL1000.  I would recommend getting away from 5-lane beltway and away from crowded DC area, its not a fun place to ride.  PA is one of the nicest places for riding motorcycle I have seen when you get to susquehanna valley area because of scenery.  You can get to PA border (mason-dixon line) in about 60 minutes from where you are  Also outter banks, NC is nice. Also I-70.  see ya.  JCS Beer Beer
