Admin statement: Any photos posted here should be stored in the VSRI gallery so they don't go away in a few months or so. Linking from a manufacturers site is not good either as they change stuff around from time-to-time. The single most useful view when others are considering a new windshield is the profile. Unfortunately, a lot of sellers don't post pics of this angle on their websites. So, in the interest of helping others with their searches for Zen-like, buffeting-free goodness, please post a profile pic of your Strom and it's windshield. With any luck, this will go as well as the Handlebar Gallery and we'll end up with a really good tool for comparing windshields!
Rules for posting:
- Host your image on the VSRI Gallery in the Windscreens Folder (See Admin statement above)
- A pic of the entire bike if possible
- A true profile pic, not frontal or angled
- Orient the bike to face in the same direction (left) as all the other bikes
- Post who makes the windshield, what size it is (small, medium, large, 21", 23", sport, touring, etc...) and what setting the bracket is set at (if you know) .
- Use either the OEM bracket or a Madstad adjusted to the same angle as OEM if possible (this thread is about the windshields, not the bracket)

To start things out, here are a few bikes known to have excellent wind protection and a Strom with the OEM shield:

OEM standard windshield
Lowest bracket setting

You can really see the difference in the vertical curvature of the shield and how far the trailing edge would be from the rider's head.
