Gotta agree . . .The European Short screen plus the Madstad for summer riding is perfect (for me).  The Manta and the Madstad in the winter and for inclement weather!

+1

However, when I add a passenger for touring, the Euro Shorty Screen gets less than stellar reviews from the pillion position.

I'll be interested to see how the new Cee Bailey ST Screen works.  It certainly looks more "normal" than the Mighty Manta...!  My Manta is starting to show the tests of time and mileage, after about 35K and lots of trips.

It's California Scientific.

I've had the Givi as well, the CalSci, developed by V-Strom rider and research physicist Mark Lawrence is superb.

If you are short enough, it works great! Grin

I wish I could find a shield that was really good for dual-sport riding.  What I mean by this is......when doing about 60-70% pavement and 30-40% dirt....there was a good choice.

The stock shield is great for the dirt, but stinks for pavement.  On the other hand I did a Tall Givi...and the dirt riding completely cracked it and tore it up, but it was great wind protection on the pavement.

Maybe my solution is Stock with Mad-Stad?Huh?Huh?

Try the MRA Vario with 1/2" spacers under the mounting bracket between it and the fairing. Works like a champ and is still small enough it is well protected. Bring the spoiler down when off road and up for on road.

I used to use my tall Cee Bailey shield in the winter, but I ride my FJR1300 in the winter now and don't need to block the cold air. The tall Cee Bailey takes the wind off of your upper body and face; I can ride at 85 mph with my face shield up. Anybody want to buy a tall Cee Bailey?

Euro short screen.  It was expensive to get but it was cheaper than buying several more screens that I would not be happy with

Of my 3 non windshields, I have found the National Cycle V-Stream brand the best...

I have 3 MP Cycle Design windshields on MP brackets. An 11", a 19" and a 22" all provide non turbulent flow with a degree of protection commensurate with their heights. It appears many after market windshields do a good job.

Plastic Engineering shortie screen with a MadStad. Although with this screen, I'm not sure the MadStad is even needed.

I might have changed my vote. I used to like the stock screen from Suzuki, BUT I love the Tall. I found that NOT putting me EZ-Pass under it makes life more comfortable. My two cents.

Where can I get a Euro short screen?  Did a search, but found nothing.

TIA

Cee Bailey 23". Cuts 80% of the buffeting and looks like it was make for the bike. I get compliments now from strangers in parking lots. I used some spacers to get the angle the way I want it. I have a Calsci and it works about as well but looks dorky (IMHO), is not as good optically and I had to trim it so the hand-guards didn't hit it.  It's for sale cheap if anyone wants to try it.
