I've just ordered my basic kit... I already had a few CO2 cartridges but I did't feel like I could depend on them especially when a plug needs pumping more than once...

I may even end up buying tubes for my tubeless tires. In case of a tear that can't be patched or slimed.

The Motopumps kit is great. It fits perfectly in the space behind the OEM tool kit.
How are going to break the bead of the tubeless tyres then remove one bead fit the tube and then replace the bead while you are on the road?

I have a Scottish friend who repairs old European bikes. I was in his garage drinking beer the other day. I asked him the same question. He puled a tire from one of the bikes, layed it down making sure the rotor was safe, got on it and started jumping on the edges. Soon enough, the bead broke and he took the tire off. I don't think it was the beer.

I don't know if I can do what he did. I think I might use the sidestand and the weight of the bike. With some help.

If I'm in that hopeless situation, I will break the bead SOMEHOW. I'll bite it. I'll talk to it. I'll grease it.

Great kit! I just got mine in the mail. The cool thing is I emptied the bag, examined the kit and put it all back - and it all fit! Thanks for a great product! I hope I never have to use it though.

Hi Brian-

Very sorry about the slow reply.  Yes, a Powerlet plug can be wired to the MotoPump kit with no issues.  If you want specifics on polarity or need a Powerlet Plug, give me a shout.

sales@motoessentials.com

Thanks!

Rob

Can a Powerlet plug to wired to this device safely? You've given me another reason to install a side socket similar to the Beemer in the photo - I need one there for batt charging and auxiliary power when the bike is not running... thanks!

Hi Rob,
Just ordered the basic kit with clips. So you'll have another doing the trip "down under".

Looking forward to carrying it on the bike.

Cheers, Beer
BOB.
